had a great weekend. at first i thought it was going be a weekend of searching for the right shoes for the mrs. in soho by myself. luckily i got her help. she flew out to nyc to shop and stay at the ritz for the weekend. dang baller! haha. that's right, the clients i'm working for are putting us up at the ritz-carlton battery park. at no time of my life have i ever heard the term "absolutely, my pleasure." as much i have in the last 5 days.
also, while out to dinner with my colleagues (<-- ooh, big word, first time i've ever used it), i saw bob costas of sports broadcasting fame. and while window shopping on broadway in soho, jenn and i got a chance to chat with apl.de.ap. pretty cool.

live from new york... it's mixtape late night edition!
757 entry:
this entry comes from UA flight 16 SFO to JFK. pretty boring flight I must say. highlight of this plane ride so far is the martin luther live acoustic performance on the in-flight screen. good stuff. earlier I was nodding off and I think I almost bumped my head into the lady beside me. sorry passenger 15D.

five songs i listen to a lot, or mean a lot to me:
according to itunes:
i didn't even think i listened to quarterbackin' that much. *shug*
but these are the songs i've been litening to a lot lately.
- jam master jay by run-dmc because i love how it starts off with the hi hats then breaks into the verse.
- picture book by tommy womack because my wife sings it to me. :)
- get you mad by eminem. kills it! hate if you want but he kills it!
- lucifer by jay-z. dope ass beat. big up kanye!
- callin' out remix by lyrics born (featuring e-40 and casual). i just think it's a dope conglomerate of bay area hip-hop.

"If lyrics sold / then truth be told / I'd probably be just as rich and famous as Jay-Z / Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense / next best thing I do a record with Common Sense."
